Starting in 2011 The ISF, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International (JDRF) and JDRF Israel found a joint program, supporting research on type 1 diabetes in Israel.

The goals of this Program are: i) to promote the highest quality of biomedical research in the areas of autoimmunity, beta cell biology, and the interaction between the immune system and the beta cell in the context of type 1 diabetes and ii) to expedite the practical application of basic scientific advances into novel therapies for diabetes. Project grants are awarded with maximum budget of 500,000 NIS per year for up to 3 years.


Guidelines
