This program is enabled thanks to Legacy Heritage Fund of New York that was created to commemorate Bella and Harry Wexner who dedicated their lives and their fortune to support the welfare of the Jewish people in Israel and throughout the world.
The objective of this ISF program in cooperation with the Legacy Heritage Biomedical Science Partnership (LHBP) Initiative (Morasha) is to support scientific medical research in the field of neurodegenerative diseases and genetic disorders.
This program has been facilitated also in partnership with the Government of Israel and private philanthropy from Israel.
The investigator driven competitive grants in basic and clinical science will be up to $100,000 per annum and extend for a period of up to three years. The institution shall provide 15% of the funds for each such grant.
