This program was initiated by the National Nano-Technology Committee and the National Infrastructure for Science Forum. According to their recommendations ~7.5 million dollars was allocated to nano-technology infrastructures. The program was intended for university researchers only for the purchasing of equipment facilities for nano-technology research. The ISF delt with reviewing the applications, according to its criteria.he universities were required to participate in 30% of the expenses. The scientific and financial statuses was reported through the ISF, according to its specifications. The program was run only in the year of 2004.
